I bought this a month ago for my partner after she complained about how hard it was for out Hamilton blender to blend firmer vegetables without having any water to slosh things around. Buying this food processor has been a revelation. We don't have to cut onions or other vegetables anymore. Blending or making puree is an absolute breeze. I would 100% definitely recommend!

I've had a Kitchenaid mixer for over 10 years and I have all the attachments for it ( except the ice cream maker .. wish it would go on sale) and I also had the 13 cup processor with the exact cutting system however it didn't last very long. Overall I'm very happy with my Kitchenaid tools and suggest them to everyone. I needed another processor so I decided to try this 9 cup and I'm not disappointed. It shreds, slices, combines all types of foods with ease. I love the stacking of blades inside the machine as it's a great space saver. The only thing I wish is that it had a slightly bigger food tube for slicing/ shredding and I wish it was a 10 cup processor.
